Set off on the most exciting of all half-day kayaking excursions to Favignana, sailing its turquoise waters and admiring the pristine beauty of the "Pearl of the Egadi Islands."
With an experienced local guide, you will discover the secrets and hidden treasures of this fascinating island in an original and eco-friendly way. You will pass through picturesque bays and nature reserves, enjoying unique views.
You will dive into crystal-clear waters for swimming and snorkeling, and finally, you will enjoy Sicilian delicacies, such as the famous pane cunzato, homemade pastries, and fresh fruit. We will also bring an underwater camera with us to capture the best moments of the excursion. The photos will then be shared with all participants.
Special event: kayak treasure hunt
At the end of the excursion you will participate in a fun quiz treasure hunt. A short questionnaire with simple and curious questions about kayaks, the sea, and the stops visited: whoever gets the highest score will win a handcrafted wooden map of the island of Favignana.
What we are going to do
The meeting is at 8:30 a.m. at the meeting point in Favignana, c/da Punta Lunga, in front of the ASD Gulliver sailing school.
After a briefing on the route and paddling techniques, we will be ready to set off on one of the most scenic excursions in Favignana.
During this experience, we will explore the southern part of the island, characterized by calm waters and breathtaking views. We will make several stops to relax, take photos and enjoy the sea.
One of the most exclusive moments of the excursion will be the landing on Preveto Island, known as "the island of seagulls." We will arrive early in the morning, when absolute tranquility still reigns, making the experience unique and far from mass tourism.
Those who wish can snorkel and admire the seabed rich in marine life. Our guide will tell you interesting facts about the local history, culture and nature of the island.
The excursion takes about 4 hours. We will conclude with a leisurely paddle back to the starting point around 1 p.m.

My family and I went on a half-day kayaking trip. The scenery was incredible. We were guided to small, wild beaches unlike any I had ever seen before. We were beginners, but they took excellent care of us. Don't even worry about the food, because they offered us a delicious dinner. It was a fantastic trip to see the island from the sea!

In fact, for him the kayaking season in Favignana had already ended, but for us he made an exception. A wonderful opportunity to explore the island of Favignana in a less mainstream way. We visited small rocks and coves that are hardly accessible from the land and are less frequented by the crowds of tourists.
